Yesterday I finished In Pursuit of the Speckled Gumball. It was sometimes bawdy and profane, but always real and many times electrifying. This is one of the best books I have ever read and my favorite genre. I put your work right up there with Frank McCourt's Angela's Ashes and Gay (Gaetano?)
