Born September 10, 1931 in Utica, Missouri, the author served four years in U. S. Navy, has degrees from Central Michigan University and The University of Tulsa School of Law. During his career as a trial lawyer he was also a candidate for U.S. Congress. His memoir, In Pursuit of the Speckled Gum Ball, was published in 2003. "Corkscrewed, a sequel to In Pursuit of the Speckled Gumball was published in May, 2010, and is now available at Amazon and B & N. Hiram and
his wife Nancy, have six children and six
grandchildren. They divide their time between
Edmond, Oklahoma, and Port St. Joe,
Florida.
